Summer might be over, but our local events schedule didn't get that memo.

Every Saturday & Sunday Now Thru October- Fall Harvest Festival at Underwood Farms

Where: Underwood Farms 3370 Sunset Valley Rd. Moorpark

When: 9 am to 6 pm

Cost: $26, children under 2 are free

Enjoy a variety of themes as they switch out each weekend. Friends of the Farm, Antique Tractor, Wild West, Farm Country, and All About Pumpkins will keep you coming back for more each week. Fall is the perfect time to visit Underwood Farms!


Nights of the Jack

Where: King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas

When: Most days, now through the 31st

Cost: Prices start at $29.99

Reign of Terror Haunted House

Where: Janss Marketplace

When: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Halloween nights now through November 4th

Cost: That's a loaded question, starts at $35

The largest indoor Haunted House in Southern California! Visit if you dare. Pricing and times vary, it's best to consult the website here.

Santa Paula Ghostwalks

Where: Masonic Temple Santa Paula, 102 N 7th St Santa Paula

When: Weekend nights starting the 13th-29th. First tour is at 6:30, last at 9 pm

Cost: $15 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under

This tradition has been haunting patrons for 28 years. Tours are approximately an hour and tours are limited to 30 people and leave in 15 minute increments. Find out more here.

Oct. 5th- First Thursday Event at Whizin Market Square

Where: Whizin Market

When: 4 to 8 pm

Cost: Free

Special sales, local artists, and live music. It's the place to be on Thursday nights!

Oct. 5th- Conejo Uncorked Charity Wine and Food Festival

Where: 299 S Moorpark Rd, TO

When: 5:30 to 8:30 pm

Cost: It's for charity

Oct. 6-8th- 51st Annual Ventura Harvest Festival

Where: Ventura County Fairgrounds

When: 10am to 5pm

Cost: General Admission is $9, Seniors and Military $7, youth 13-17 $4, free -12

Oct. 7-8th- Reyes Adobe Days

Where: Reyes Adobe Park

When: 11 am to 4 pm

Cost: Free

Can you say you are even an Agoura resident if you don't attend Reyes Adobe Days? Music, food, and vendors, what more could you need?! Visit here for more information.

Oct. 7-8th- 37th Annual Avocado Festival Festival

Where: Linden Avenue, downtown Carpinteria

When: Saturday 10 am to 10 pm, Sunday 10 am to 6 pm

Cost: FREE

Holy guacamole, you had us at avocado! California's largest FREE music festival! Enjoy the music of over 60 performers, and of course, all the avocados you can eat. More information here.

Oct. 14-15th- Seaside Highland Games

Where: Ventura County Fairgrounds

When: 9 am to 5 pm

Cost: $25 general, $20 for seniors & military, $5 children 6 to 12

Men in kilts? Sign us up! It'll be like taking a quick trip to Scotland. Enjoy music, dancing, traditional highland events, great food, and more! Learn all about it here.

Oct. 14th- 6th Annual Chinese Cultural Day

Where: Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Park

Oct. 15th- 31st Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair

Where: Moorpark Road between Hillcrest and Wilbur

When: 9 am to 4 pm

Cost: Free

With over 300 vendor booths, this street fair is sure to be one for the ages! Enjoy all the fun things. More information here.

Oct. 21st- Halloween Haunted Trail

Where: 2525 N Moorpark rd, Thousand Oaks Community Center

When: 6 to 9 pm

Cost: $5 to take the Haunted Trail

Oct. 21st & 22nd, and 28th & 29th Boo at the Zoo

Where: The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

When: 11 am to 4:30 pm

Cost: Adults $12, Children $10, Seniors $10

Interactive Trick or Treating, scavenger hunt, kid crafts, wildlife meet and greets, food trucks, and plenty of photo ops. Buy your tickets here.

Oct. 22nd- Calabasas Pumpkin Festival

Where: De Anza Park

When: 10 am to 5 pm

Cost: $10

Oct. 22nd- Kids Fun Zone

Cost: Free

Wear your best Halloween costume! Fun activities for the littles.


Oct. 28th- Harvest Festival at the Stagecoach Inn Museum

Where: Stagecoach Inn Museum

When: 1 to 4 pm

Cost: $10 per person, $5 for children 5 to 12

Oct. 31st- Halloween Carnival

Cost: Bring a treat to share

Bring trick or treating back to the neighborhood! We had so much fun at this event last year. We're promised it's going to be even bigger and better this year. You don't want to miss it!
