Summer events are officially in full swing, here's where to see and been seen in the next few weeks!


May 20th


ArtzFest- at Rancho Tapo Community Park in Simi Valley (3700 Avenida Simi). Enjoy chalk artists, cultural arts performances, arts & crafts, expo vendors, food vendors, kid activities, and so much more! From 10 am to 3 pm. FREE! Though some activities do come with a fee. Learn more here.


California Strawberry Festival- Back after a 3 year hiatus! Takes place at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W Harbor Blvd, Ventura). With over 40 Food Vendors, a Ninja Nation Obstacle Course, Live Music, Entertainment, and Arts & Crafts, this event is a must for any strawberry lover! Event is May 20-21st from 10 am to 6:30 pm both days. Admission is $15, with discounts for active military and seniors. Youth 5 to 12 are $8, 4 and under free. More information here.

May 21st


Topanga Banjo-Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival- Come enjoy one of the oldest music festivals in the US! Bring your instruments to jam with friends, or come just to listen and enjoy good vibes. Event takes place at Paramount Ranch (2903 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills) from 9 am to 7:30 pm. Check the website for more information and ticket prices.

May 26th


Free Jazz Concert- At the Westlake Village Civic Center (31200 Oak Crest Drive) from 7 to 8:45 pm. Lindero Middle and Agoura High Jazz Bands will be performing. Come support these budding musicians, and arrive early to enjoy the array of food trucks that will be on site.


May 27th


Kids Fun Zone "Friendly Frogs & Cheerful Bugs"- At Janss Marketplace. Located behind Buca di Beppo, Kids Fun Zone is a free event that takes place the last Saturday each month through October from 12-2 pm. To ensure you get the full experience, register here.


805 Night Market- Foodies, this is for you! On May 27th and 28th come celebrate food, culture, and community. Feast on an array of food option, and the whole family will enjoy the carnival rides. From 3 to 10 pm in The Oaks Mall East Parking Lot. Event is free, but you must register for tickets ahead of time. No tickets will be distributed at the door. May 29th


CRPD Concerts in the Park Elton John Tribute- Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue in Thousand Oaks. From 5 to 7:30 pm. Free!


June 2nd


Thousand Oaks Pop-Up Arts & Music Fest- From 7 to 8:30 pm at Stagecoach Inn in Newbury Park. Enjoy the sweet sounds of Bluegrass curtesy of the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band. Free!


Redbird's 21st Children of Many Colors Native American Powwow- Oxnard College Gymnasium Field, 4000 S, Rose Avenue, Oxnard. Enjoy food, demonstrations, vendors, and of course lots of great story telling through music and dance. Friday hours are 6-9 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. June 3rd


Thousand Oaks Pop-Up Arts & Music Fest- From 7 to 8:30 pm at Suburbia Park in Thousand Oaks. Delfeayo Marsalis & The Uptown Jazz Orchestra. It's a little taste of the Big Easy. For a full list of future pop-ups click here.


Inaugural Wild Oaks Country Music Festival- Featuring Craig Morgan and other talented country acts. Line dancing, food trucks, kids' activities, and over 75 vendors and booths. From 12 to 7 pm at Conejo Creek Park South, 1300 E Janss Road. Tickets are $65 through May 28th, $225 for VIP. Kids 12 and under are free. More information can be found here.

June 4th


30th Annual Angels Wine & Food Festival- Admission is $150 and includes samplings from restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries, and more. All proceeds go to Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families. Event runs from 1 to 5 pm at CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo, 1 University Drive. Click here for tickets and more.


Tiny Porch Concerts- Steve Poltz and Abby Posner will perform at Peter Strauss Ranch (30000 Mulholland Hey, Agoura Hills). Admission is free, but a donation of $20 is encouraged. VIP tickets are available for purchase and include a beer, wine, and cheese reception prior to the show. Concert starts at 5 pm, more information here.


June 7th


Janss Marketplace Free Summer Concert Series, Hollywood U2- Every Wednesday through August 2nd enjoy a free concert at Janss Marketplace! Concerts are from 6-8 pm and will feature a variety of acts. See the full line up here. Concerts are free! For a free concert tee, present $30 in receipts spent at any Janss Marketplace store or restaurant dated June 7th through August 2nd while supplies last.


June 10th


Annual Pioneer Jamboree at Stagecoach Inn Museum- Pan for gold, learn to lasso, and party like it is 1899! Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 5 to 12, and free if they are under 5. From 10 am to 4 pm, click here for details.


Westlake Village Concert in the Park, Fooz Fighters- 7 to 8:45 pm, free concert at Berniece Bennett Park. 31800 Village Center Rd, Westlake Village. Click here to see future concerts in this series.


Movies in the Park, National Treasure- Enjoy the first of two movies in the park at Reyes Adobe, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive in Agoura. Movie starts at 7:30 pm, and be sure to mark your calendar for July 8th's screening of The Incredibles.


June 11th


Sun Sets Summer Concert Series at Calabasas Lake- Rock out to popular rock hits by cover band Off the Record. Concert is from 6 to 8 pm at 23400 Park Sorrento in Calabasas. Event is free, with free parking.


June 14th


Janss Marketplace Concert Series, Guns N Roses Tribute- You know the drill, concert is from 6 to 8 pm.


June 15th


Conejo Valley Days Carnival- Event runs from June 15th to June 25th. Admission is $10, kids 10 and under are free. Parking is $5. Dates and times vary, click here to see them all. Carnival is located at Conejo Creek Park South.


June 18th


Father's Day Car Show- Take dad out to see classic cars at the Channel Islands Harbor, 3900 Pelican Way, Oxnard. Event runs from 10 am to 3 pm and will also feature vendors, food trucks, music, and fun for thee whole family. More details can be found here.


Summer Concerts in the Park, Zeppelin Tribute- The Agoura Hills Summer Concerts Series kicks off at 6 pm! Chumash Park is the place to be, 5550 Medea Valley Drive. Click here to see the full calendar of events.
